NS Northbound Freight Train 130 ( New Orleans, La. to Chattanooga, Tn. ) passing through Attalla, Al. with a rare FXE SD70ACe le\ding the way, FXE has made several appearances on NS, BNSF, & CSXT over the years, but only a few times I have caught FXE SD70ACe's, usually they're ES44AC's or AC4400CW, to date I have only caught 3 FXE SD70ACe's leading trains, 2 of them leading NS freights & 1 leading a UP freight, so not very common in the southeast, but it can be quite common to see FXE on UP in the southwest, once I caught 2 UP trains back to back with solid consists of FXE power, obviously interchanged with FXE somewhere |
