ABS Job 121 heads back to their yard in Tuscaloosa, Al. after a days switching at Nucor Steel in Holt, Al. ABS Job 121 can be seen early in the morning in Tuscaloosa getting their train ready for Nucor Steel in Holt, Al. They usually leave Tuscaloosa early morning heading for Nucor Steel in Holt, Al. where they work a few hours more or less then head back to Tuscaloosa. The light conditions were good for the trip to & from Holt, Al. It was better for the trip back to Tuscaloosa on this day. The ABS follows the NS Alabama Division AGS South District for about 4 miles before breaking away from NS toward Holt, Al. Light angles are very good in the morning until they break off from NS, then when they head back to Tuscaloosa in the afternoon the light angles are great for the trip back. Its very classy ABS has repainted a few of their GP38-2s in a commemorative paint scheme for Alabama Crimson Tide Football, love their colors. Pulling For The Tide, Roll Tide |

ABS Job 121 has completed their work at Nucor Steel in Holt, Al. as they do a walking inswection of the brakes before heading back to their yard in Tuscaloosa with plate steel shipped all over the U.S. Job 121 seems to have these nice looking GP35Rs painted in a commemorative paint scheme for Alabama Crimson Tide Football held captive, could be these units are specifically used for job 121 only, to date since August of this year theyve only worked the 121 job that I know of. |
