Alex Vaughn General Nice shot, nice location. 11/23/2010 9:25:15 AM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Alex, Usually don't waste my time shooting this type of power, but couldn't resist this awesome shot, which was my reason for taking this & another shot of 21R with more junk for power I don't usually shoot. I really like this location so much I'll even shoot GE widecab junk 11/23/2010 9:32:36 AM
Bernie Feltman General GREAT location, Mr. Davis 11/25/2010 9:50:54 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General I agree Bernie, I need to shoot here more often & hope for better power than this junk 11/25/2010 10:14:27 PM
Connor Chinoy General It ain't junk. A train is a train, if you ask me. Besides, everything else is vanishing, and we may as well embrace the futire while trying to capture the past. 12/12/2010 5:27:57 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General I'll be done with Class 1's except for the ones I like their paint schemes once all the conventional cabs are gone. I'll be concentrating on regionals & shortlines for the most part in the years to come. I like quality & not quantity these days since for the most part all the power is the same on every train for the most part. I do like anything EMD though as oppose to the constant GE Widecab parade. 12/12/2010 6:50:41 PM
dustin blackmon General another awesome shot 12/19/2010 2:52:32 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks dustin 12/19/2010 5:42:45 PM
Jim Matuska General Nice photo Mr. Davis! 12/19/2010 9:16:04 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Jim 12/20/2010 7:08:32 AM
Curt Beal General Great curve shot. The power might be common but it is hard to resist not taking a shot like this. 1/2/2011 3:04:48 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Curt, I agree. the awesomeness of the shot is the only reason I shot the junk power on this train 1/2/2011 3:35:51 PM
Joshua Reynolds General You are one of the most talented rail photographers I've ever seen, and easily one of the best on this site. I LOVE looking at your photos. But just because something is common doesn't mean it's junk. If you were shooting N&W in the 50's and got a picture of a Y class, would call that junk? Or what about an EMD passenger E or F unit in the 50's or 60's? Certainly not, I would assume. Or what about an SD40-2 20 years ago? I wouldn't. Lol, it seems like every photo you post of GE you got to bash it just a little. You definatley got passion (and skill) for photographing trains. Or you're just lucky as hell, lol. Either way, please keep it up and keep sharing with us. 8/1/2011 2:41:18 AM
