| NS Northbound Intermodal Train 226 ( Meridian, Ms. to Atlanta, Ga. ) passing through Birmingham, Al. with a fairly new SD70ACe leading the way. SD70ACes are one of my favorite modern locomotives built today. To the left of 226 are high line #1 & #2 tracks where NS interchanges with CSXT, the tracks to the right of 226 are AGS #1, then CSXT #2 & #1 & the passenger shed #1 & #2 where Amtrak goes into the station. The track 226 is occupying is AGS #2. 226 runs as Z-LAAT ( Los Angeles, Ca. to Atlanta, Ga. ) via KCS |
