BNSF Southbound Empty Coal Train U-EOLBIR ( Eola, Illinois to Birmingham, Al. ) passing through Burnwell, Al. The crew of U-EOLBIR asked the dispatcher if it was fine with her if they stopped at the Texaco Convenient Store in Burnwell for a quick bite to eat on the run, dispatcher gave her approval & they got their food & drink, then headed on south to Adamsville to meet L-840 & met 1 more at Oakwood before finally heading on to Birmingham, Al. with a BNSF SD70ACe leading the Wabash Heritage SD70ACe for power, too bad the Wabash Heritage SD70ACe wasnt leading but at least Ive already caught it leading on a few occasions on NS. These U-EOLBIR empty coal trains are delivered to BHRR former BSRR at East Thomas Yard where BHRR comes over to take the train to Ensley, Al. When the train is loaded it then heads back north to Eola, Illinois at a Power Plant there

William H. Davis Jr. General I'm not sure if they get loaded at Ensley or they go on to Birmingport to get loaded, all I know is coal goes back north to a power plant in Eola, 1 of the rare cases that coal trains run empty south & loaded north, usually it's the other way around 4/11/2013 10:31:33 AM
